Personal Reflection

I will often remember and reflect upon the ADA as an overall example of a statute that has changed the lives of numerous blind people of all ages and diverse backgrounds. What a historical thrilling moment it was to see that so many blind Americans can design an umbrella with so much meaning or significance.

Milestones of Summer 2015:

Americans with Disabilities Act 1990-2015
Four award-winning contenders inducted into the Basbella HOF in Coperstown, NY: Craig Biggio, Randy Johnson, Pedro Martinez (BOOOOOO!), and John Smoltz
Cole Hamels pitches a no-hi9tter against the Cubs

Changing the world means changing what it means to be blind. I was taking a gait down one of the blocks in my hometown and wondering to myself, what will become of the enxt generation (millenials) when money does not matter over position when jobs are given to blind people for less than the minimum wage? How will Blind Americans react to this question?

Tales of a Never Ending Rapper

We plan then we lead
We must now move on to succeed
I’m not in for the greed
You never came past one iota to plant me every seed
We must learn to fulfill our need
To succeed
Now please do not beg or plead
To fulfill every want and every need
It came down to every soul to read
You better never give up and learn to succeed
I may not see well
I call myself legally blind
I am a one of a kind
I heard you call
But now you stood tall
Never back down or fall
Let me concentrate
On my well-planned fate
I will make it if I try
We will never let another bird fly by
Even after one big sigh

Never let another man or woman die
After they see the movie “American Pie”
Don on an Armani suit or tie
Do not forget or lie.
